Last week, we made a visit to Porsche Centrum Gelderland in Heeteren. Being one of the biggest Porsche Centres in the Netherlands, it offers an enormous range of special Porsche supercars. Expectations were high before going there, and it surely wasn’t disappointing! In this blog I will tell you all about the experience and what it was like. Before you continue, try out our website to find more interesting stories and photos of supercars!
The arrival
When driving up to the location of the Porsche Centre, you already have a hard time deciding where to look. From the road and parking spots you can take a glimpse inside where there is an enormous range of different Porsche models. Every colour you can imagine is in the showroom, from acid green to baby blue.
When entering the showroom, we were immediately greeted by a very friendly receptionist. We were offered a drink even though we weren’t customers looking for a car. This shows the amazing hospitality of this Porsche Centre! After finishing a delicious coffee, it was time to take a look at the cars on display and take some photos. Note: If you want to go there yourself, send an email in advance asking if you can take some pictures just to make sure.
The showroom
The showroom of Porsche Centrum Gelderland is an amazing place and definitely not the standard type of showroom. Of course, the cars placed in it already make it very special. However, the decorations on the wall referencing the history of Porsche really add something extra. On the main floor were the newest cars, including a whole range of GT3 models.

By going one floor up, you arrive in the second hand part of the dealership. However, second hand doesn’t do justice to the cars that could be found there. A purple GT3RS was placed in the centre of the space, surrounded by some very rare cars. Take for example the Porsche 911 Sport Classic of which only 250 were made! Or what about a 2011 GT2RS with a limited production number of 500 cars? By now, it’s probably clear that this isn’t your average line up of Porsche supercars.
My personal favourite was the bright green GT3RS, as it really stood out immediately and the colour just fits that car amazingly well. We were allowed to sit in all the cars in the showroom to take some more up-close pictures. This really made the experience even more special, as you don’t get to sit in Porsches that often, especially not in limited produced models!
Porsche Classic Centre
Besides their ‘regular’ centre, they also have a Classic Centre. It’s specialized in vintage Porsche classic cars and other very special models. It was actually the first official Classic Centre to be opened… in the entire world! Because of this, they have a lot of expertise with classic Porsche’s and even fully restore cars in their workplace.
When entering the showroom of this awesome place you could immediately smell the old cars and oil which some of you might be familiar with. It’s similar to what you sometimes smell in old car museums. We were again greeted with a coffee and were free to walk around the various rare models. Of course, it wasn’t allowed to touch them or sit in them as these are some rarer and fragile cars than the newer ones.
There was a large range of very old Porsche 356 models, one of which was fully restored with original parts. I’ve never seen that many 356’s together and don’t think I ever will again! A duo of Gulf Blue 911 2.7 RS’s was also present, one with a staggering price tag of €625.000. And that wasn’t even the most expensive car in the room, as some were so rare the price was only given on request.
Overall, a visit to Porsche Centrum Gelderland and the Classic Centre is definitely worth it, both as a customer and as Porsche enthusiast. The hospitality is great and the number of cars available there will easily give you something to do for a few hours.
